How to vote?​

Sunday 9 June 2024

In Austria you can vote in the European Elections if you are

  • at least 16 years old on election day
  • an Austrian or an EU citizen with a legal residence in Austria, or an Austrian citizen living abroad

If you are an expat or Austrian citizen abroad, you need to make sure you are registered at your (last) local community (before a deadline).

If you are an Austrian citizen living in Austria, you are automatically registerd.

You can usually vote in a polling station in your place of residence. Don’t forget to bring your ID.
