How to vote?​

Sunday 9 June 2024

In Bulgaria you can vote in the European Elections if you are:

  • at least 18 years old on election day
  • a Bulgarian citizen or a EU citizen having resided in a EU at least during the last three months before the elections, or a Bulgarian citizen living abroad

If you are an expat living in Bulgaria you need be registered at your local community before Tuesday 30 April.

If you are a Bulgarian citizen living in another EU country, you need to register at the Central Electoral Commission (https://www.cik.bg/en/) before Wednesday 15 May.

If you are a Bulgarian citizen living in Bulgaria, you are automatically registered.

You must vote at your designated polling station. Take your ID with you.
