How to vote?​

Sunday 9 June 2024

In Finland, you can vote in the European Elections if you are:

  • at least 18 years old on election day
  • a Finnish or an EU citizen with a legal residence in Finland, or a Finnish citizen living abroad.

If you are an expat living in Finland you have to register at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.

If you are an Finnish citizen living abroad, you don’t need to register in advance.

If you are an Finnish citizen living in Finland, you are automatically registered.

You must vote at your designated polling station. Take your ID and voting card with you.
