How to vote?​

Saturday 8 June 2024

In Latvia, you can vote in the European Elections if you are:

  • at least 18 years old on election day
  • a Latvian or an EU citizen with a legal residence in Latvia or a Latvian citizen living abroad

If you are an expat living in Latvia you have to register at the Central Election Commission of Latvia, before Friday 10 May.

If you are a Latvian citizen living abroad, you should be registered automatically.

If you are an Latvian citizen living in Latvia, you are automatically registered.

You may vote at any polling station within the country. Take your ID with you.
