How to vote?​

Saturday 8 June 2024

In Slovakia, you can vote in the European elections if you are:

  • at least 18 years old on election day
  • a Slovakian or an EU citizen with a legal residence in Slovakia, or a Slovakian citizen being present in Slovakia

If you are an expat living in Slovakia you have to register at the local community before Tuesday 30 April.

If you are a Slovakian citizen living abroad, you can only vote in person in Slovakia.

If you are a Slovakian citizen voting in Slovakia, you are automatically registered.

You must vote at your designated polling station. Take your ID and your voting card (if you received it) with you.
